Award-winning artist and songwriter, Wizkid has reacted to fans abandoning his stage name to call him by his real name, Ayodeji.
In a post sighted on his IG story, a member of the Wizkid FC replied to his story concerning his MIL tour in Lagos. The fan who made his mentions known in regards to the tour confidently called Wizkid by his given name, Ayo.
“Make sure USA is included Ayo!, the fan wrote.
The 30-year-old artist whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun couldn’t get over the fan’s boldness to slide into his DM and call him Ayo. He took a screenshot of the message and posted it on his IG story.
Reacting to this, Wizkid commented on how fans have forsaken his stage names, ‘Wizkid and Starboy’ and have taken to calling him Ayo like they are blood-related. He also replied another fan who DM him ‘Chicago please Ayo!!! I’m on my knees literally…‘
